Parenting Flash Tip

Getting kids to pick up after themselves can be a real chore. Instead of arguing and fighting about it all the time simply set Up a time out box for “stuff.”  When you have repeatedly asked Your child to pick up after themselves you simply pick it up and Place it in the time out box.  When they notice it is there you Explain that in order to get it out of time out they must perform a Chore that you choose.  This is a great way to put the monkey on Their back and maybe get a few things done around the house as well.
